Hiram College

William (Bill) Young was a multi-sport athlete at Hiram, but was best known for this four-year career as a member of the men’s soccer team (1961-64).  During his soccer career, Young was a two-time first-team All-Ohio award winner as well as a three-time team Most Valuable Player. In addition to playing soccer, Young also played a year of basketball and baseball. 

Following graduation, he went on to earn a master’s degree from Kent State University in 1968.
