Myrtis E. Herndon Field

Myrtis E. Herndon Field is the home of Hiram softball. Herndon Field, or "The Myrt," is named in honor of Professor Emerita Myrtis E. Herndon, whose generosity led to the construction of the state-of-the-art complex in 2003. The facility features an angular outfield with a warning track, as well as brick dugouts. Practice areas, storage space and a permanent scoreboard help make Herndon Field one of the top softball playing fields in the area.
