The Hiram College Athletic Communications Department is here to meet the needs of the media and opposing sports information offices, as well as Hiram alumni, parents, students and fans. The office carries out the daily maintenance of HiramTerriers.com and provides live coverage of all home athletics events. Members of the sports information office also coordinate photography and video, provide in-game statistics, write press releases, game recaps and special features, produce athletics publications, promote the Terriers through various social media outlets and assist the media in its coverage of Hiram athletics.

Media Guidelines
Credentials - All credential requests should be sent to the Director of Sports Information, John Alfes. Media credentials are limited to those working in the print, broadcast or electronic media, and are issued is at the discretion of the Director of Sports Information. Please make requests for credentials at least 48 hours in advance of gameday.
Visiting Radio - Please contact the Hiram Sports Information Department at least 48 hours in advance of the game in which you would like to broadcast. In most venues, Ethernet and/or wireless access and power are readily available.
Interviews - All media interview requests must be made through the Hiram Sports Information Department. Student-athletes will not be asked to miss classes or practices for any reason. If you are requesting interviews after athletics contests, the NCAA mandates a 10-minute 'cooling-off period' following events. Interviews may be held on the field, court or in the press box but may not be conducted in the locker rooms.
Photography - Photography is permitted at all Hiram Athletics events. Photographers shooting from the playing field level must make the Hiram Sports Information Department aware of their work and must follow all NCAA guidelines regarding in-game athletics photography. All photographers assume all risks of entering the playing area of a Hiram Athletics event.
