Hiram College

A four-year letterman in football, Brandenburg contributed to the team as both an outstanding offensive back and punt returner. Kevin is Hiram's most outstanding punt returner and was a three-time All-PAC selection in football and was the PAC Offensive Player of the Year in 1978. He holds or shares nine punt return records including the longest return and career marks for returns, yards average, and touchdowns.

Brandenburg's success during the fall on the football field carried over to the wrestling mats during the winter. As a wrestler, Kevin lettered three times and earned All-American honors at the 150-pound weight class during his junior and sophomore seasons. Kevin's outstanding career was capped in 1979 when he received the Donald M. Campbell award as Hiram's male athlete of the year
.
The transition from the athletic arena to the workplace has been an easy one for Kevin. At the time of his induction, Brandenburg was a chef and the owner of a seafood restaurant in Florida.
