Damiani, was on the varsity football team, varsity baseball team, and on the intramural basketball team during his time at Hiram College. He was baseball captain, received his varsity baseball letter all four years, was an All-PAC first baseman in 1982 and 1984, and received three varsity football letters.
Off the field, he was also involved in H-Club, Alpha Pi Epsilon, and on Homecoming court his freshman, sophomore and junior years. For the past thirteen years as of his induction, Damiani had been working for Funk Lawn in Buffalo, N.Y., most recently as the branch manager.
