William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Mike Houska was a standout wrestler for four seasons at Hiram. He also pitched on the baseball team for two seasons. Houska was PAC champion at 167-pounds in 1982 and a runner-up in the same weight class in 1979. He also earned All-American honors at 167-pounds in 1981. In his four years at Hiram, he went a perfect 24-0 in conference regular season meets.
Houska graduated Hiram in 1982 and has spent 30 years in the medical manufacturing and distribution industry. As of his induction, Houska was the owner of Medical Resources Limited, located in Akron, Ohio.
