William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Haynam was a three-time first-team All-PAC honoree, leading Hiram to a second place finish in the inaugural season of PAC Softball in 1986, and the Conference Championship in her senior season of 1988. She was also chosen to the Division III All-Region Team in 1987. Her career batting average of .356 ranks eighth on the all-time Hiram list, and she stands second all-time in career stolen bases with 31.Â
Known mainly as a slick fielding shortstop, she also pitched when needed, and recorded 13 wins on the mound during her Hiram career. Haynam was also a First-Team All-PAC performer in basketball, and was the PAC Player of the Year and an All-American honoree in field hockey. In addition, Haynam earned All-American honors in field hockey and All-Region accolades in softball during her career. She finished her Hiram career with a total of 12 varsity letters and received the Petroskey Award in 1988 as Hiram’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
Haynam has been coaching since graduation, and returned to her alma mater to head the women's basketball team from 1999-2004.
