William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
While at Hiram, Jones participated in football, baseball, and track. He earned four varsity letters and was also a four-year starter on the football team. He was a second team All-President's Athletic Conference selection in 1981, 1982, and 1983 and was a first-team pick and honorable mention All-American in 1984. In baseball, Jones was a first-team All-PAC pick in 1985. His athletic achievements earned him the outstanding African-American Student-Athlete award in 1985.
As of his induction, Jones was employed by TD Waterhouse, the second largest discount brokerage firm in the world, as a business analyst-specializing in telecommunications and consumer relationship management. He has perviously worked as a registered representative for two national discount firms and also worked as a component charge consultant for a Washington, D.C.-based naval firm.
