William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
A member of the Terriers' football team :from 1983-1988, Beltz was a two-year team captain, and received President's Athletic Conference All-Conference honors four times. He was selected as the PAC Defensive MVP in 1987, named Hiram's defensive team MVP in 1986, and was a member of the All-PAC First Team twice (1986 and 1987). Beltz was also named to Football News Preseason All-America and Associated Press All-American teams in 1987. His career highlight came when he intercepted a pass for the game-winning touchdown versus Oberlin in 1986.
An avid outdoorsman, and father of two, as of his induction, Beltz had spent the past 12 years working as a manager for the Sherwin-Williams Company where he won a Masters Award for sales.
