William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
While at Hiram, Ziemer participated and lettered four years in both football and track and field. In football, he was named the team's most valuable player and ranked sixth nationally in receptions during the 1972 season.
As of his induction, Ziemer worked as a builder, teen facilitator, and outdoorsman. In addition to his work with Habitat for Humanity, he also works with individuals and groups to help them set and value their priorities and increase self awareness to live more mindfully.
