James K. Wansack, a 1967 graduate of Hiram College is of the most honored baseball players in Hiram history. Wansack was a four-year letter winner and earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in both his junior and senior years. He was honored by his teammates and coaches with selection as Hiram's most valuable player in 1967 when the Terriers claimed the conference championship.
As of his induction, Jim served honorably as a Colonel in the United States Air Force. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors as a hunter and fisherman.
