William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
A 1983 graduate, Carrie Peters Icard left her most visible impression on Hiram's athletic program. Carrie was a standout performer on both the Hiram College softball and volleyball teams. As a four-year letter winner in both sports, Carrie was honored by her teammates with her selection as
volleyball captain during her senior year and softball captain in both her junior and senior years.
Carrie was also an active member of the Hiram College community. She participated in the Hiram choir, assisted with her senior yearbook, and worked as a student assistant in the alumni office. Her eclectic interests led her to Utah where, as of her induction, she served as an English instructor at the College of Eastern Utah. Hobbies include exploring Utah and spending time with her two-year-old daughter.
