Miller was a four-year starter on the Lady Terriers' basketball and softball squads. She served as captain of the women's basketball team for three
years and was selected as the softball team most valuable player as a sophomore team captain as a senior.Â
Miller received her master's degree in polymer science from the University of Akron. She received a United States Patent in January of 1995 for
an improved spark plug lubricant.Â
As of her induction, Miller was the quality control general supervisor of Battery Cable Product Segment at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren. A member of the board and elder in the Champion Christian Church, Miller has previously served as a high school basketball official and softball umpire.
