William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Starks had a hand in many sports in his Hiram career, playing played football, basketball, track, and intramural basketball. He was Pizza Hut All-American, an All-Conference PAC tailback his freshman, junior and senior years, and team MVP his junior and senior years.
He taught for five years at Maple Heights High School and moved to teaching health and physical education at Shaker Heights Middle School, where he's been for the last six years as of his induction. He also coaches high school football and is the head coach for the girls and boys track team at Shaker Heights Middle School, while simultaneously holding the position of Athletic Director at the Middle School. He has been volunteering for Teens Learning to Connect where has been the Camp Director for four years. He has also been a coach for three year at the Cleveland Browns Youth Football Camp.
