While a student at Hiram, Greg Piscura was a talented contributor to the Terrier men’s varsity baseball team. He was Co-MVP of the 1978 PAC Championship team, was an All-PAC catcher, and finished in the top 10 in NCAA Division III in RBI per game.
In addition to his skills on the playing field, Greg helped define the ethos of his fellow Hiram classmates as a disc jockey and talk show host on WHRM radio.
In the twenty-six years since he graduated from Hiram College, Piscura has been a visible member of various Northeast Ohio communities as a teacher and coach. He has taught in the Chagrin Falls and Bedford school district, and as of his induction, held a teaching position at Brady Middle School in the Orange school district. In addition to his classroom responsibilities, Greg has coached men’s football, basketball, and baseball. He also has volunteered as a coach for the Solon Recreation Department. Greg Piscura resides in Solon with his family.
