Lipski is lauded as Hiram's only All-American golfer. He earned a varsity position his freshman year as the number five man and by the end of the
season, was voted the team's most valuable player, an award he was to win for the next three years as well. Also captain of the golf team for his
final three years, he earned all-conference honors at the Ohio Athletic Conference meet his senior year when he was OAC medalist. He then went
on to the NCAA tournament, where he earned All-American recognition.
A mathematics major, he initially worked as Territory Manager for Westinghouse Electric in Richmond, Virginia and as of his induction, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for Champion Products.
Golf is still a part of his life, as illustrated by participation in four of the·past seven years in the U.S. Amateur Tournament, where he finished in the top 16 two years ago. In addition, he has two Maryland State Amateur Medalist titles to his credit.
