William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Hayden was an outstanding performer on the Terriers' football and baseball squads from 1971 to 1975. A two-time All-President's Athletic Conference selection in baseball (1974 and 1975), Hayden served as captain of Hiram's football and baseball teams as a senior. He was a member of Hiram's 1973 PAC Championship baseball team. In addition to his athletic exploits, Hayden received the Wall Street Journal Award for his academic excellence.
As of his induction, Hayden was the Manager of Finance for General Electric Lighting at the GE Wiring Devices and Specialty Products Division. He is a past recipient of the Father James H. O'Brien Catholic Youth Organization Service Award. He also served as the catching coach at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School.
