The first student-athlete in Hiram women's volleyball history to achieve 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs, Schnetz was a four-year letter winner for Hiram women's volleyball from 1998-01. A three-time All-NCAC selection, Schnetz earned a pair of honorable mention honors in 1999 and 2000, before garnering a second-team selection in 2001. Schnetz was also named an NCAC Scholar-Athlete in 2001.
 
For her career, Schnetz totaled 1,052 kills and 1,446 digs, both of which rank in the Top 10 in program history. Schnetz also still ranks as the Terriers' career leader in service aces with 228. Off the court, Schnetz was a member of the JJ Turner Society, the Ski Club and the Dean's List.
 
Following her graduation from Hiram, Schnetz served as a research assistant at Case Western Reserve University before attending medical school at Ohio University from 2004-08 and completing her residency in emergency medicine at South Pointe Hospital in 2012. As of her induction, Schnetz works at Hillcrest Hospital as an Emergency Medicine Physician and is also the Vice-Chair of the Enterprise Emergency Management Committee at the Cleveland Clinic.
 
Outside of work, Schnetz enjoys outdoor sports, was the first overall female finisher at the Findley Triathlon, and twice qualified for the USA National Triathlon Championships.
