William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Waldman is no stranger to Hiram athletics. She was involved in field hockey, basketball, softball, intramural soccer, and rugby. She was team captain and MVP for both field hockey and softball. In field hockey she was also conference MVP and an Olympic candidate for tryouts. In softball she also had the highest batting average.
Upon graduation, she pursued a massage degree and began working with Olympic and professional athletes leading to the establishment of massage clinics in seventeen locations across the country, for which she received a Presidential Award for her entrepreneurial talents and vision.
After encouragement from Dr. Bernard Jensen, she applied to a naturopathic medical school and graduated in 1998. As of her induction, Waldman was a primary care physician specializing in natural medicine. Her specialties include acupuncture, homeopathy, and counseling and she is currently developing a new method of counseling that enlists the assistance of a wild horse. She also rescues and trains wild mustangs that have been captured by the Bureau of Land Management.
