William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
During her years as a Hiram College Terrier, Elizabeth Fajans Ritthaler earned her varsity letter as member of the women’s field hockey team. Since graduating from Hiram, she has been actively involved in education, first as an elementary school teacher and in more recent years as a children’s librarian. In 1995, Elizabeth was honored with a distinguished achievement award in recognition of excellence in the field of children’s literature.
She also sits on several committees at her school, including the committee on technology. Her commitment to education extends beyond her classroom: Elizabeth has earned two master’s degrees and teaches parent education classes. In her spare time as of her induction, she is actively involved with her church. She and her husband, William, live in California.
