David Cherosky was a four-year member of the men’s soccer team (1993-96) as a student-athlete at Hiram. He had an accomplished playing career as a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference award winner and was the OAC Newcomer of the Year as a freshman (1993). In addition, he was a two-time All-Region and All-American (1995-96), two-time All-Ohio (1995-96), conference Most Valuable Player (1995) and team Defensive Most Valuable Player (1996).

David was a member of the only Hiram men’s soccer team to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Tournament (1995) and advanced to the “Sweet 16.” The Terriers finished the 1995 season with a 15-6 overall record which is tied for the second most wins in program history.

Off the field, David was a member of the Lambda Lambda fraternity. Following graduation, David went on to play soccer with the Cleveland Whitecaps (1998-99) before going on to work for New York Life (2000-02). As of his induction, he worked for the Health Benefit Administration.
