William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Greg Rinyo was a member of the Terriers' baseball team from 1977-1980. During his career he helped Hiram win the 1978 President's Athletic Conference Championship. He also was a varsity letter-winner all four-years, a member of the All-PAC team, and was a team captain in 1978. He earned team co-MVP honors that same season.
Since graduating from Hiram, Rinyo, a teacher and a coach at Crestview Schools at the time of his induction, has coached high school baseball all-star teams in that have played at Jacobs' Field in Cleveland; Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA; Cafaro Field in Niles, Ohio; and Bill Davis Stadium in Columbus.
