Michelle "Shelly" Leshe '08 was a four-time NCAA All-American Honorable Mention, earning the distinction twice in 2006 and twice again in 2007 in the 100 and 200-meter butterfly. A four-year letter winner on the swimming & diving team, Leshe was a three-time All-NCAC selection in 2006 in the 100m butterfly, 200m butterfly and the 400m relay.

Leshe holds seven school records: three individual records in the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly and four relay records as a member of the Terriers' record-setting 200m and 400m freestyle relay teams, and the 200m and 400m medley relay teams. Leshe also holds top 10 times in six other events.

As of her induction, Leshe was an acquisition professional with various Federal agencies, and enjoys traveling to national parks across the United States. After joining the vegetarian co-op at Hiram, Leshe also discovered a love for cooking, and enjoys making home-cooked meals.
