Meg Frey was a four-year member of the Hiram College swimming and diving team and four-year letterwinner. Frey served as a team captain during her senior season and held multiple individual school records in the butterfly and backstroke events when she graduated. Out of the pool, she was also a member of the rugby club for four years.

Frey graduated from Hiram in 1990 and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University Veterinary School in 1994. Since then she has been practicing as a small and exotic animal veterinarian. As of her induction, Frey owned her own veterinary practice in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She also continued to be involved in athletics serving as an assistant soccer coach for her children’s teams as well as competing in Master’s swimming events. Frey also competes in triathlons and recently completed her first “Ironman” triathlon in 2011.
