William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Chambers participated in both football and basketball while a student at Hiram. He played football for four years and served as co-captain of the team, while also serving as president of H-Club for two years.
A scholar/athlete, Chambers was a member and president of the Black Key and a member of Phi Gamma Epsilon, which he also served as
president. Active in student government, he served on the Interclub Council and Men's Committee and appeared in Who's Who in American
Colleges and Universities in his fourth year at Hiram College.
A resident of St. Charles, Ill., Chambers, as of his induction, was president and owner of Imperial Components Inq. and Tru-Tru Inc. He has also been active in forming and serving on boards of national industry organizations and boards related to components for home and industrial use.
