Terri was a three-sport star (volleyball, basketball and track) for the Terriers from 1982-1986. She was named team captain and most valuable player for the volleyball team as a sophomore, junior and senior, also earning All-President's Athletic Conference First Team honors as a senior. In basketball, she broke the schools career scoring record in 1984 with a total of 566 points and was named captain her final three years and selected team MVP as a junior. Terri also earned All-PAC First Team honors as a junior and senior for basketball.
As a member of the track team in 1986, she was instrumental in leading Hiram to its second consecutive PAC Championship, enabling the Lady Terriers to win their first ever PAC All-Sports trophy.
Terri was honored for her athletic achievements by being the first female athlete in Hiram College history to receive the Helen M. Petroskey Award, given annually to the finest female athlete at Hiram College, twice.
