Steinle was a strong force within the Hiram volleyball program. She was named the team's most valuable player in 1979 and.served as team captain in 1980. Not one to remain idle, during three of her four years on campus, Roxanne contributed her athletic abilities to the women's basketball team in the winter and to Hiram's softball program in the spring.
Roxanne remains active in athletics through participation in softball and bowling. As of her induction, she works as a section coordinator at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and enjoys gardening in her leisure time.
