Hiram College

Walunis excelled across multiple sports during her time at Hiram College, earning letters in women's basketball, softball, women's volleyball and rugby. The 1990 Helen M. Petroskey award winner, Waluis was the 1989 PAC Softball Player of the Year and a First-Team All-PAC selection, helping the Terriers to a second-place finish in conference. 

Off the field, Walunis was a member of Phi Kappa Chi and Omicron Delta Kappa, and served as a residential assistant.
