Hiram College

While at Hiram, Horvath participated in basketball, volleyball, softball, and field hockey. She was twice named captain of the women's basketball team, including the 1981-82 squad which qualified for the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

Since graduating from Hiram and as of her induction, Horvath has spent the last 17 years as a physical science and biology teacher at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. During that same time she has served as head coach of the girl's basketball team at BBHHS and was twice named conference coach of the year while the squad has reached the district finals on five occasions and reached the regional tournament twice. She also has 15 years experience as an assistant volleyball coach. She also received a master's degree in biology from Kent State University.
