William H. Hollinger Hall of Fame
Kingzett was both a quarterback and a defensive back during each of his four years on the Hiram College football team. He co-captained the squad during his junior and senior years, and during his senior year he won Honorable Mention on the All-Ohio team.
In addition to the four letters Bill won in football, he added three others from his participation in basketball as a guard and as a catcher and outfielder in baseball. He captained the 1952-53 baseball team.
Bill was the president of Phi Gam social club, a member of Black Key and the Men's Committee, and a four-year participant in the H-Club.
As of his induction, Kingzett was the Coordinator of Athletics for the South Euclid-Lyndhurst City Schools. In addition, he continued his life-long involvement in athletics by officiating basketball and football games for the Mid-America and the Ohio Conferences. He is also a member of the officiating staff of the National Football League.
