A two-time All-NCAC Second-Team selection, McDevitt was a four-year letter winner for Hiram men's basketball, a two-time captain and one of just 28 Terriers to reach the 1,000-point mark with 1,021 career points. The 2007 Donald M. Campbell Award winner, McDevitt still ranks in the Top 10 in Hiram men's basketball program history in defensive rebounds (320), defensive rebounds per game (3.1), offensive rebounds (154) and games played (102).

His 43-point performance against Wittenberg on Feb. 2, 2008, still ranks as one of the Top 10 individual scoring performances in men's basketball program history, as well as his three-point field goal percentage, .667, that night.

A two-year member of Hiram's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, McDevitt went on to earn his MBA from Ohio Dominican University in Dec. 2009 and has worked for MPW Industrial Services since 2010 in several different positions, and as of his induction, the Director of Sales.
