Mark DeGennaro '79 was a four-year member of the Hiram College football team, playing from 1975-1978.

A four-year letterwinner, DeGennaro helped the Terriers to 16 victories in four seasons, including 13 wins in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. A three-time, first-team All-PAC defensive back, DeGennaro helped Hiram to a six-win season in 1978, marking the most wins by the program since the 1939 campaign.

Mark was named the team's defensive MVP in both 1976 and 1978, and finished his career with seven total interceptions, including a personal best of three in '76. DeGennaro also posted a pair of picks in both '75 and '78.

Following graduation, DeGennaro worked as a scene shop technician in Parma Heights, Ohio before moving to Santa Monica, Calif. to work as the Assistant Gallery Director for Preparation at the Karl Bornstein Gallery for eight years.

As of his induction, Mark served as the preparatory and operations manager for the Miami University Art Museum in Oxford, Ohio, where he has worked since 1994. Along with his job, DeGennaro is a member of the Oxford Men's Club.
