Ryan Greenhill has one of the most decorated resumes in the 67-year history of Hiram men’s soccer, most notably as the program’s second All-American selection following his senior season in 2012 (joined Dave Cherosky). Greenhill will particularly remember that 2012 season, when the Terriers started 9-0 and finished the fall with the second-most wins (15) in program history. In four seasons from 2009 to 2012, he recorded 29 assists (second-most in program history), five game-winning goals (tied for fifth), three penalty kicks made (tied for fourth) and 71 games started (first). He also led the team in assists in 2009 (10) and 2011 (8), and is the only player in program history to have multiple games with three assists.

In addition to earning the United Soccer Coaches Second-Team All-American award and D3Soccer Third-Team All-American award in 2012, Greenhill is also a two-time All-Region selection, three-time All-Ohio honoree, four-time All-NCAC selection and the program’s only NCAC Offensive Player of the Year (2012). Hiram Athletics awarded Greenhill with the Donald M. Campbell Award, which is awarded annually to the Male Athlete of the Year, for the 2012 season.

Greenhill also thrived in the classroom, earning the NCAC Scholar-Athlete award in three consecutive years from 2010 to 2012, as well as the CoSida Academic All-District First Team award (three times) and the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America First Team (2012) honor.

Greenhill has worked in the financial services industry since graduation, with his current role being a financial advisor for Huntington Financial Advisors. He also has spent the last five years as the head boys soccer coach at Solon High School, where the team won its first Greater Cleveland Conference title. Greenhill lives in Twinsburg, OH and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Brittany, as well as his three children, Lincoln, Beckham and Callum.
