Angie Horner Showalter earned her varsity letters as a member of the Hiram women’s volleyball and basketball programs. She further honed her athletic skills as a Terrier by participating in intramural softball and flag football. In addition to her involvement with athletics, Angie was a member of Phi Kappa Chi, served as a Hiram peer tutor, and coached at the Hiram Summer Basketball Camp.
Since graduating from Hiram, she has taught second and third grade at Katherine Thomas Elementary School in Windham, OH. She has remained involved in athletics as a coach of women’s high school volleyball and basketball teams. As of her induction, Angie Horner Showalter had earned her master’s degree from Kent State University. She lives in Ravenna, OH, with her husband, Larry, and her two-year-old daughter, Morgan.
