HIRAM, Ohio - July 27, 2023 - The Hiram baseball team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and earned the Team Academic Excellence Award for 2022-23.

To qualify, a team must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during the 2022-23 academic year. Hiram was one of nearly 800 college and high school teams across the country to be recognized, with DePauw, Kenyon, Oberlin, Wabash and Wooster being the other NCAC schools to earn the honor.

The Terriers baseball program also had 11 student-athletes named to the 2022-23 NCAC Academic Honor Roll, which was the most of any team at Hiram College. Hiram women's soccer (8) and women's volleyball (5) also had at least 5 honorees.

Hiram will now look ahead to 2023-24 after finishing this past season with a 5-3 record on its trip to Florida, picking up conference wins over Ohio Wesleyan and DePauw, and eventually having an all-conference selection in Chaisson Marrs.
