Box Score April 26- ALLIANCE, Ohio- The Hiram College baseball team suffered a 20-4 setback at the hands of Mount Union on Thursday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders held the Terriers runless in the first five innings but at the top of the sixth sophomore, freshman Vince Suso tallied the first Hiram run of the game off a sacrifice fly from his brother PJ Suso.
Hiram didn't stop there as they tacked on a remaining three runs between the seventh and ninth inning.
In the seventh inning, junior Alex Gould tallied an RBI after bringing home
Curtis Caithaml off a single to left field.
Sophomore Nate Shorts finished the scoring effort for Hiram with a single to center field scoring sophomore
Tyler Haas and freshman Tommy Dailey.
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, April 28 as they take on Wabash in a doubleheader matchup. The first game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start.
