HIRAM, Ohio - December 22, 2025 - Hiram's Isabella Caceres became the first Terriers women's basketball student-athlete to take down a PAC Player of the Week award since the program's return to the conference in 2025-26, as announced by the PAC in a release on Monday afternoon. It also marks the second career award for Caceres, who was named to the NCAC All-Tournament Team following the Terriers' postseason run last winter.

Caceres had a game for the ages this past Saturday against Penn State Shenango, as she set new single-game program records for points (43) and 3-pointers (11) in a 98-70 victory inside Price Gymnasium. She also chipped in nine assists and scored/assisted on 65% (64 of 98) of Hiram's points in the convincing effort.

The sophomore point guard from Cypress, CA passed Cassie Bedard (37 points vs Kenyon in 2005) and Anastasia Lawler (9 3-pointers vs SUNY Delhi in 2024 and 9 3-pointers at Penn State Shenango in 2024) for those program records. She also had a team-high 17 points earlier in the week against Wooster, which included six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals.

The victory on Saturday marked Hiram's first home win of the campaign, and provided a big boost of momentum heading into the holiday break. The team will look to pick up where it left off on Wednesday, Dec. 31, when it hosts Penn State Behrend at 3 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
