Terriers Keep Game Close But Drop To Fighting Scots, 70-66

HIRAM, Ohio – December 17, 2025 – Hiram women's basketball welcomed the Fighting Scots of The College of Wooster on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference matchup, which saw the Fighting Scots prevail, 70-66, in a close matchup inside Price Gymnasium.

Grabbing an outstanding 14 rebounds was Maya Joiner, who finished 1 point off of a double-double with 9 points.

Hiram's offense found a spark in the fourth quarter, shooting 47.6% from the field during that span (10-21) and scoring 24 points, which was its most in any quarter of the game. Wooster matched that offense, as it featured 14 points in the paint during the final frame to claim the tight victory.
