Lawler enters her first season as an assistant coach with the women's basketball program in 2025-26 following a five-year playing career with the Terriers. The Hudson, OH native finished with 135 career 3-pointers, which ranks second in program history, as well as 579 points over 76 games (45 starts). In addition to the wealth of experience, Lawler also served each of her final two seasons with the program as a team captain.
Lawler took on leadership roles outside of the Hiram women's basketball program, too, spending three years as the president of Hiram's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and two years as the secretary for the NCAC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Lawler graduated from Hiram College with a bachelor's degree in marketing, along with a minor in communication. Prior to her undergraduate and graduate studies, she attended Hudson High School (Hudson, OH), where she was a four-year letterwinner.
