HIRAM, Ohio – December 10, 2025 - The Hiram women's basketball team welcomed the Scots of Alma College for a Wednesday evening matchup inside Price Gymnasium. The Terriers fought hard, but eventually fell 89-62 to the Scots in what marked the first matchup between the two teams all-time.
The Terrier battled throughout the game, making the Scots earn every bucket they scored. But, the play of the Scots eventually prevailed, as they earned their fourth win of the season behind the play of Cadence Kaminski and Kate Starkey, who combined for 45 points.
Leading the way for the Terriers was Isabella Caceres, who dropped 18 points and tallied three assists as well. Caceres shot lights out, drilling 4 threes against a tightly contested defense. Also leading the home team was Maya Joiner, who finished the night with 14 points, six rebounds and two steals. Joiner also finished the night with a perfect 6-6 mark from the free throw line.
Sarah Seaman and Juliana Gunn combined for 23 points to round out the biggest contributions on the evening.
The Terriers will be back in action on Wednesday, December 17, when they welcome the Fighting Scots of Wooster College for a 7 p.m. tip-off inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, OH.
