Box Score Delaware, OH - October 26, 2022  --  The Men's Soccer team ran into a buzz-saw at Ohio Wesleyan , losing 7-1 on Wednesday evening.

OWU peppered 41 shots at the goal with 23 on target.  Junior Jack Meinert was in goal for Hiram.  He made 15 saves during the game, five in the first half when the Terriers trailed by a score of 3-1 at the break.  Junior defenseman Jeremy Sgro scored the first goal of the game on a header off a corner kick in the 20th minute of the game to put the Terriers on top, 1-0. Sgro was assisted on the play by senior midfielder Antonio Vitale.

OWU then tallied three times in the 26th, 29th and 42nd minutes of the half to take the 3-1 advantage into halftime.  The host team fired away 25 times in the second half, scoring four more times for the final score.  Seven different players notched a goal apiece for the winners.

The Terriers will look for their second win of the season when they visit DePauw on Saturday, October 29 at 2:30, in the final regular season game..
