Late Goal Lifts Bearcats Past Hiram

Boscarello Adds Another Goal To Season Total

HIRAM, Ohio – October 17, 2026 – Hiram College men's soccer fell to Saint Vincent College, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon at UPMC Sports Complex.

Hiram threatened early with two shots on goal from Carmine Boscarello and Reginal Johnson, but the Bearcats broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 22nd minute to take a 1-0 lead.

That score held until the 76th minute, when Hiram was awarded a penalty kick to even the game at 1-1. Boscarello stepped up and successfully converted the attempt, but Saint Vincent responded just a minute later with a goal to regain the lead and secure the 2-1 victory.

Boscarello finished with seven shots, including two on goal. Johnson, Liam O'Brien and Ethan Garner also recorded a shot on target for the Terriers.

Hiram will return to action next Saturday, October 24, when it hosts Bethany at Henry Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
