Terriers Pounce On Bison

Boscarello Notches Two Goals

HIRAM, Ohio – October 24, 2026 – Hiram College men's soccer earned a 5-2 PAC victory over Bethany on Saturday night at Henry Field, continuing its push for a spot in the conference playoffs.

Despite the late start, the Terriers wasted little time getting on the scoreboard. In the 20th minute, senior Liam O'Brien fired a powerful shot into the net after a series of deflections created the scoring opportunity. The goal marked O'Brien's first career goal after spending the past four seasons as a key part of Hiram's defense.

The Terriers kept their foot on the gas, putting together a strong offensive stretch to take control of the match before halftime.

Junior Carmine Boscarello found the back of the net twice in a three-minute span, scoring in the 23rd and 25th minutes to extend Hiram's advantage. Boscarello leads the Terriers with 13 goals on the season, while Saturday's performance marked his second multi-goal game of the year. He is also tied for the top spot in the PAC in goals scored.

Boscarello's second goal of the night came courtesy of Isaac Rogenthien who found Boscarello in a congested box.

Hiram continued to build its lead when Rogenthien found Cooper Williams added another goal in the 33rd minute, giving the Terriers a commanding 4-1 advantage heading into the halftime break. WIth two assists on the night, Rogenthien now leads the team in assists on the season with six.

The second half brought more intensity as both teams found the net, keeping the action competitive as the match progressed. With emotions rising late in the contest, Hiram maintained its composure and continued to create scoring opportunities.

Erik Rangel Negrete capped off the Terriers offensive performance with a goal in the 65th minute, helping secure the 5-2 conference victory.

The Terriers finished the night recording 28 shots, including 12 on goal, and earning 13 corner kicks.
