Jan.26-SPRINGFIELD, Ohio- The Hiram College swimming and diving team competed on the road in a dual meet, Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers led 126-46 on the men's side and 119-41 on the women's side.
Junior
Jenna Nelson and sophomore
Elijah Skaggs each won an event for the Terriers in the dual meet against North Coast Athletic Conference foe Wittenberg.
Nelson led on the women's side winning the 400-yard IM clocking in at 5:13.21.
Skaggs paced the men's side winning the 200-yard backstroke beating out two Tigers in a time of 2:07.76.
Hiram also scored key runner-up performances from senior
Reeve Bowling in the 50-yard freestyle (23.84), senior
Michael Barber in the 400-yard IM (5:12.13), and sophomore
Angie Ross in the 200-yard backstroke (2:35.36).
The women's swimming and diving team will host Franciscan Saturday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. for their last meet before the NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
