Box Score Oct. 23 – HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College men's soccer team finished their home slate of competition with a 2-1 loss against Denison, Tuesday night.
The Terriers kicked off the senior night action striking first with a goal from
Giovanni Meza off an assist from
Bryce Harding in the third minute of play.
Hiram held the Big Red scoreless in the opening half taking a 1-0 lead.
Denison broke through in the 50th minute to tie the game 1-1 off a goal from Leo Herard.
The Big Red ended the Terriers celebration scoring off a penalty kick in the 89th minute to secure the 2-1 victory.
Offensively, Hiram finished the night with 10 shots placing four on net.
The Terriers will hit the road and head to Springfield, Ohio to take on Wittenberg in their last regular season conference game. The matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27.
