Men's Soccer Falls to No. 20 Kenyon

Oct.13- GAMBIER, Ohio- The Hiram College men's soccer team was defeated by the Kenyon Lords by a final score of  4-0.
 
The Lords, came into the matchup ranked 20th by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).  
 
The host held a 2-0 advantage in the opening half, scoring goals in the 4th and 37th minute. 
 
Although junior Stephen Barimah posted a shot in the first half, it went just wide of the net, and the score remained 2-0 going into halftime. 
 
The Lords added to their lead tallying goals in the 59th and 81st minute to secure their 4-0 lead.  
 
In goal, junior CJ Keith and freshman Shelby Edwards split time. Edwards finished his 28 minutes of work with four of the seven Hiram saves.  
 
Hiram will be back in action on Wednesday, October 17 as the team hits the road again to compete against the College of Wooster. The matchup is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
