Keanu Shelton sealed the Hiram College men's soccer team's 2-1 win over Allegheny Wednesday night.
It looked to be a silent second half until the 89th minute, when the Gators' Liam McKersie responded with a cross from Danny Reid to send the game into overtime tied at 1-1.
Shelton cemented the Terrier victory ending the overtime period with a shot off a throw in from senior
Kyle Watson in the 98th minute.
The senior pair of Nshimyumuremyi and Shelton each tallied their third goal of the season. The goals marked the third time this year, and second game in a row, that the pair have scored in the same game.
Sophomore goalkeeper
CJ Keith had nine saves on the night.
The Terriers will return home to take on the Kenyon College Lords. The matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 14.
