HIRAM, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's swimming & diving team fell to Wilmington in a non-conference dual 136-63 on Saturday afternoon.
The Terriers drop to 0-6 on the season, while the Quakers improve to 4-1.
Senior Danny Essel (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid) led the Terriers with a first place finish in the 50-meter breaststroke in 34.48 seconds.
In the 50-meter freestyle, freshman Reeve Bowling (Minneapolis, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) finished third in 27.42 seconds and junior Jamal Hill (Inglewood, Calif./Junipero Serra) was fifth with a time of 29.09 seconds.
The 200-meter freestyle saw Bowling touch fourth in 2:17.32 and junior Jordan Canevari (Vero Beach, Fla./St. Edward's) finish fifth in 2:17.32.
Hiram will take some time off and will return to action on December 5, with a meet at Bethany (W. Va.) at 1 p.m.
