Hiram, Ohio- September 14, 2026 - Hiram men's soccer Carmine Boscarello earned PAC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the Presidents' Athletic Conference Monday afternoon. This comes after an outstanding second week of the season for the Terrier midfielder.

Boscarello opened up the week on Wednesday against Pitt-Greensburg, where he would slot home a penalty kick in the 70th minute, giving Hiram their only goal, which would end up being a 1-1 tie. That marked the second consecutive game with a goal for Boscarello, as his impressive form continued into the young season. Boscarello would continue to impress in Hiram's second match of the week, when they traveled to Pitt-Bradford Saturday afternoon. The junior from Olmstead Falls, OH once again scored late into the match, this time scoring a goal in the 80th minute, which proved to be the game-winning goal. That goal not only secured Hiram's first win of the season, it also was Boscarello's third consecutive game with a goal, as he has scored in all but one game this season. 

The junior midfielder currently leads the PAC in shots per game (4.25) - evidenced by his seven shots against Pitt.-Greensburg and seven shots against Pitt.-Bradford this past week. Boscarello is also top-five in goals scored (3), shots on goal (6), and points (6).

The Terriers will look to improve on their 1-0-3 start, which is the best start since 2012, in their next match at home against W&J on Wednesday, September 16th, with kickoff set for 4 p.m.
