HIRAM, Ohio – September 14, 2026 — Hiram College freshman linebacker Kole Scott has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week, earning the first weekly honor of his collegiate career.

Scott made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball in Hiram's 20-11 win over Manchester University. The Butler, Pa., native finished with seven tackles, six of them solo, while making three tackles on third-down stops to help the Terriers hold off the Spartans.

Through the first two games of the season, Scott leads Hiram with 12 tackles, including 11 solo stops. His early impact has helped the Terriers jump out to a 2-0 start, their first since 2014.

Hiram will have a bye in Week 3 before opening Presidents' Athletic Conference play against Thiel College on Sept. 26 in Greenville, Pa. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
